This Saturday: Join us for Labor Walk 2008
This Saturday, May 17th, union members across the country are going door-to-door to talk member-to-member about the real record of Sen. John McCain, including McCain’s health care plan, which includes tax health benefits and would lead to millions of people being pushed out of their current health care plan.
Your help is critical to getting information out to voters about John McCain, the presidential candidate who thinks the economic difficulties American families are facing are “psychological.”
Join the Labor 2008 kickoff walks on Saturday, May 17 – they are only the beginning. Keep an eye out for our future Labor 2008 activities to get the word out about McCain-including walks, phone banks, letters to the editor campaigns and worksite leafleting.
You can find the nearest Labor Walk for Saturday on the AFL-CIO’s events page by entering your zip code.
